Virtual Travel: Greece

Writer: Rene GriffithRene Griffith

Many of my friends are talking about traveling this year and still don't feel comfortable making plans yet. So this week I'll wet your travel bug by showing you a few of my favorite photos taken in the Greek islands. You'll notice the color blue in the furniture, buildings, and doors. I felt like the entire time we were there I was surrounded by blue clothing, housewares, bicycles, and best of all blue skies and beautiful blue waters!

This is where we stayed on the island of Santorini; truly a magical place.

Two weeks island hopping still wasn't enough time. We did manage to explore Athens, Santorini, Naxos, Mykonos, Paros, Corfu, and Kafelonia. We rented a car on each island but traveled by foot in Athens. One of the most memorable things we did was take a nighttime walk through the old part of the city with a guide. Unbelievable how much territory you can cover with someone who knows a place so well.

This was my second trip to Greece and it will not be my last. To me it is one of the most beautiful places in the world and full of friendly people and great food. I don't think it gets much better!

As always, I hope you enjoy my little blog post each Sunday. You can unsubscribe at any time but I hope you'll stay for the ride. And, please join me on Instagram and FB to see some of my latest posts. Thank you and Happy Valentine's Day!
